In the village of Cuisery, known as the “Book village”, you can visit numerous shops selling new, second-had and old books, as well as a binder, a printer with a Gutenberg press, a painter, and an antique dealer.
The Eden centre presents very interesting exhibits on local plants and wildlife.
Farther on, you can visit Tournus (the Hotel Dieu hospital, and St Philibert Abbey, a master piece of Norman art), and go up the vine-yards hills.
In Louhans, you will see lovely arches, a guided visit of the Hotel Dieu hospital, and the widely known poultry market on Monday mornings.
